If you love tight harmonies and outstanding guitar playing, you will love Frances Luke Accord. Currently Chicago-based, but having met while students at Notre Dame, Nicholas Gunty and Brian Powers together make up FLA. Sandra Thompson and Sam Tuthill from Acorn Theater have said, "Frances Luke Accord gave a stunning show. They are consummate musicians, with an endearingly charismatic stage presence...Like fine wine, this duo is only going to improve with age. Don’t miss the chance to catch them on their rise up." We couldn't agree more. Check out 'Over Your Roof' and 'Save Me Your Laughter' and you'll quickly see why these two are being easily compared to Simon and Garfunkel. Early in FLA's musical adventure, they had the opportunity to travel to Uganda--an experience fully detailed here--and from that opportunity their first album was born. This video, 'Kandote' captures the spirit of that trip. We're very excited to be hosting Frances Luke Accord and hope you'll plan to join us for this great evening of live music.

You must RSVP to reserve your seats for the show. We're asking $15 for this show; as always, bring cash to pay at the door (and consider throwing in some extra for these guys at this bargain price).
